Dear All International Students and their job-hunting supporters!

COVID 19 has changed job hunting in Japan – maybe permanently. Students graduating in 2021 and even 2022 are expected to be heavily affected with smaller hiring quotas. But even within this, there are some opportunities.

Online hiring has opened up job-hunting opportunities to those outside Tokyo. Companies are also fundamentally changing the way they look at their job hunting.

For this session, we have Mr. NP Kandel, a recruiting expert who himself is a foreigner as the key speaker.

Mr.Kandel will be presenting about the following:

・Overall changes in recruitment due to COVID-19
・Which sectors are heavily affected
・Opportunities which COVID presents
・What international students can do to prepare for job-hunting

Profile of NP Kandel:
Born in Nepal, arrived in Japan in 2005 as an international student.
Graduated from Kyorin University in 2011 and started working in international student career support in the same year. Has around 10 years supporting international students.
